Reversing the congestion charge hike —

and scrapping plans to extend the £12.50 daily ULEZ charge to outer London

In the middle of a pandemic, Sadiq Khan chose to raise the congestion charge to £15 a day, seven days a week.

No one forced him to do this — as he himself admitted.

Sadiq Khan also decided to expand the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) all the way to the North and South Circulars.

This will cost people who don’t have ULEZ-compliant cars £4,550 a year.

As we recover from coronavirus, we need to support families and businesses — not raise their taxes.

So on day one, Shaun Bailey will reverse the congestion charge hike and scrap the ULEZ extension.

Cutting the cost of living for families and supporting small businesses.
